Protect Laminated Lead Shielding Safety Glass is manufactured using high optical grade lead Barium Glass, which contains a minimum of 55% Lead Oxide. This construction meets CPSC 16CFR 1201 CAT 1 specifications.
Manufacturing the glass internally enables Protect Door to meet the demanding industry delivery schedules, while being cost effective. In addition, complete glass kits are available for easy field or factory installation. The kits contain a metal vision frame or matching wood moulding, along with laminated lead shielding safety glass and glazing materials to meet your shielding requirements. The glazing materials are pre-fit and ready to be applied to the frame and/or glass, depending on the application to provide an easy, no hassle final assembly.
